Maybe the teleprompter broke and he couldn't finish explaining:

You can keep your health insurance. You will be notified that your insurance will be canceled, then you can go to an exchange and purchase it. It may be a bit more expensive, but you can purchase a cheaper plan - you have more options!!!!

Heard someone explain why Obama doesn't know about things he should know about. He's very insulated and people want to protect him and they don't want to deliver any bad news to him. That's probably what happened to Selebius - no one wanted to tell her about the problems with the websites. I'm sure Carney will pick up on that explanation and use it to excuse Obama's ignorance of important matters. then Obama can use it to keep Selebius and then they can fire some low level clerk for not reporting to her.

I am not Democrat and I don't think Obama lied.

I don't think Bush lied about WMD in Iraq.

There's no upside to lying as every word will come back to haunt a president.

Both believed what they said at the time they said it.

I don't believe that for one second.

What say you now?

Obama admin. knew millions could not keep their health insurance - Investigations
Since the president had to compromise with the republicans and the insurance industry and agree not to federally regulate the insurance industry's rates to get Obamacare passed, in the end, both the republicans failed to provide one vote for the ACA after a year of compromise negotiations.
Consequently the insurance companies double crossed the president and stuck it to the consumer with the largest rate increases in the history of health insurance and used the ACA as the excuse. It's the insurance companies that failed to deliver and hung the president out to dry. Something the democrats and the president will never forget or forgive and you can rest assured that political and corporate payback will be a b!t$h. Hillary will finish the race to single payer, universal heath care in 2016 and run those thieving carpetbaggers out of business on a rail.

Off Topic: My first post after a major vascular surgery(Bilateral Extended Femoral Endoartirectomy including Illiac) and 6 days in the Phoenix VA, ICU while my body was debating which side of the grass to look at. I'm back to give all you tea party some more grief; hopefully for years to come.

Right.

Insurance companies cancelling policies because they don't offer all the coverage mandated by Obamacare starting in 2014 is the insurance companies fault.

Come on.

Oddly enough neither did the Democrats, of course contrary to what they said afterward for political cowardliness.

I'll just leave this here:

That is laughable, at best its laughable you could type that with a straight face.

Not one...not one Republican voted for it.

I am NOT a republican and I am damn sure NOT a democrat. And I do know an out right lie when I hear it and it is proved to me. Maybe you should also.

All these exchanges are regulated . . . insurance companies cannot operate in any state without being regulated. The policies were developed with oversight from the federal government.

Obama is fulla bulla, lol.

And yes, he is lying. He deliberately made sure that ACA did not go into effect til after the election for his second Presidential bid. He knew when people found out, they would croak.

I posted on this forum many times re: what hospitals, physicians and analysts were predicting about ACA and people jumped my arse. I work with hospitals and physicians and have access to white papers (and write white papers for the industry, as well). People simply did not believe what I was relaying. They didn't want to believe it. They wanted to believe this President. It didn't matter what CBO said or CMS said - no one would believe it b/c of the lies coming out of the White House and their minions in the media.

It was all very deliberate . . . what we got was an insurance coup . . . nothing to do with lowering the cost of the delivery of healthcare.
