We have 7 different milk programs and the last one is the "Special Milk program" for anyone that didn't qualify for the other 6. Talk about overlap and duplication of services.

You know, I'm sick and tired of greedy, selfish, nasty hard*** folks in this world who bend themselves into pretzels in order to justify their hateful attitudes.
I'm sick of poor parasites too. you're not alone.

additionally, people who make extremely low incomes don't have to pay taxes because they don't qualify. THAT'S how the big companies who pay part time less than minimum wage get you to pay for their overhead and take even more money from you. People who want a job and cant find one, don't pay taxes because they have no income.

When Warren Buffet pays a LOWER percentage in income taxes than his secretary, that tells you something. Also, LAST TIME I LOOKED it was the Republicans who absolutely will not stand for raising taxes at all anywhere.
he doesn't. she pays an income tax, and he pays a capital gains tax. now how about you take those apples and oranges you just compared, and you hand them out to the poor.

Again, I ask, are the meals they get at school deducted from their food stamp benefits?
A former neighbor found herself in a situation where her husband and father of 4 drained their bank accounts and left. She was on TANF and SNAP for awhile while catching upon CE and getting relicensed. Her children were automatically enrolled in the free lunch program at school, on school days, during the school year.

Schools in my area do not provide breakfast or dinner or any meal on non school days, including summer school. According to this neighbor, while grateful for SNAP, she was challenged to feed 4 big strapping boys, who towered over her, on what amounted to $1.50 per meal per child. They returned home from school ravenous and easily polished off a large jar of peanut butter, a large loaf of bread and a gallon of milk, after school. This alone ran more than the $1.50 per child saved because of the school lunch program. According to her, they ate a lot of eggs during that time and still do, even though she no longer qualifies for SNAP or TANF.

Um no...the dividends Warren Buffett receives are subject to income taxes. He receives capital gains only when he sells (at a profit) and he rarely sells.

apples and oranges. if what he is charged is an income tax, he pays not only more money, but a higher percentage.

I have also bolded the parts where you were too long, annoying, and vague. "subject to income taxes?"

What a shame you and the rest of her neighborhood didn't step up to help her. But that's your ilk's modus operandi. Take from others and refuse to lift a finger yourselves.

His dividends are taxed at 15% and his secretary's income is taxed at 28%. Since when is 15% a higher percentage than 28%?
