Envy is defined as "sorrow at another's good;" one enthrones one's sense of deprivation as a false god. People who struggle with envy confuse equal and identical.
Sloth is laziness.
Greed is essentially about grabbing that which you did not earn.
Gluttony is the abuse of substances, and can include food, alcohol, and/or drugs.
Anger becomes a deadly sin when vengeance is enthroned as a false god.
The 7 deadly sins, there are no forces more destructive, degrading or deceptive. Get over the envy thing. It's one of the seven deadly sins for a reason; it destroys the one who engages in it.
You are confusing powerless people's resistance to being consistently taken advantage of with envy. You don't have to be an envious, but you also don't have to just sit back and be satisfied with being continually manipulated and marginalized by the powerful.
In America, we delude ourselves into thinking that everyone has the same opportunities to succeed...but that is just not true. In fact, opportunities are being taken away from the less-powerful; this is not a Republican/Democrat or liberal/conservative issue. This is a matter of the poor having fewer and fewer options.

If sloth is spiritual laziness, then nothing is more spiritually lazy than blaming and judging people. Real spiritual people will forgive and help anyone regardless of past mistakes those people make.

hmm, people who didn't educate themselves and thought a burger flipper job would be enough. People who have babies even when they know the only way to support them is to go on welfare. People who keep having more babies when they can't afford the first. Ya, and by your judgement these people made good decision.
Do you think these people made good decisions? Do you think it's fair I have to deny my kids to support their kids?

You are the one who started this thread with a spiritual tome...now you are transitioning to a material one? Methinks your logic is flawed....
As the Buddha would say, accept what is and do avoid attachment. There is some spirituality.
Also, anecdotes (the one you described) do not actually equate to fact-based evidence.

Which one do you engage in?
None. I don't believe there's such a thing as sin.
