The real lesson is not to repeat the same mistakes elsewhere - we almost got involved in the Syrian civil war a few weeks ago (even more than we already are, behind-the-scenes...). And there are quite a few warmongers who think that invading Iran would be a great idea even today.
There is a one-word rejoinder to them - "Iraq." They have no real response to that anymore.

Iran is casing allot of Iraq's problems a the floods of Syrian refuges the Iraq Army was never equipped to deal with and they should ask Saudi Arabia or the UAE for help if they need military intervention.
I mean Saudi Arabia has F-15 F-16 Abrahams tanks and apaches and Blackhawk helicopters and heavy lift Air Capability and Air-Air refuelling and the I mean the few billionaire oil rich people in the area have literally Gold platted Ferraris' and Bugatti's.
have some of the largest private luxury yachts in the world and can afford to help Iraq if they wanted or cruise around in a mega-yacht that cost over half billion and then hop in 24Kt gold plated Ferrari and burn the tires off it and not do anything.
plus they have some pretty ice palaces since some have a directory so people do not get lost like a mall with the you are here to look how to get to the bathroom or the massive movie theatre that makes movie theaters look cheap.
Our race F1 cars as a hobby and can afford to build a full pout formula one track that is a world class track and also run your own race team and support crew to rebuild the and replace the racing engines which is also expensive.
