All that says is that the gay people in your life are not apparent to you. The law of averages says that one of every twenty or so people that you know are gay.

If you make statements like that around other people frequently and are not wearing bandages, it shows that they are a great deal more tolerant of you than you are of them. Which, by the way, makes them all the more normal.

Oh wait, I don't tolerate any of them. I simply take them for what they are - fellow human beings and as such, they don't need to be tolerated. That's because I embrace them the way they are rather than having to bite my tongue in tolerant disgust while hoping that they'd just go away.
