Obama and Sebelius are now backpedalling on when/if the website will be fixed. Earlier this week Sebelius said the site would be fixed by the end of November but today she says "It will be functioning better" by the end of November.

Its beginning to look more and more like the problem is with the legislation and not the site.

Seems to be some major differences between what is actually offered and what is mandatory per HHS.

And this is from people who have actually applied and have been able to opt out of some of those mandatory essential services the rest of us have no choice with.

I don't know how the programmers keep up when they constantly making up new rules, or delaying effective dates.

Most likely because politicians do not understand the complexity of writing good software, and think that they will get fast results if they throw people at the project.

Someone been looking them in the eye and saying "thats not going to happen" loudly enough that they're listening.

The software side of this is borked. And its going to take more then a month to fix it. The back-end databases really aren't designed well, and thats not a simple fast fix. The "professionals" that sold all this to the administration lied...because...well...thats what salesmen do. And until our government starts putting these people in jail for fraud they will continue to lie to get contracts.
