Of course. Who wouldn't love their health insurance costs skyrocketing, and out of pocket (deductibles) doubling or trippling. Like Harry Reid said about taxes, "People want to pay more."
Most people find they don't qualify for those "tax credits" you are praising. And who pays for those tax "credits?" Other Americans! We the people!
Besides, I don't believe your story. I think people like you are plants, to help sell this pig with lipstick.
no actually, the tax credits come out of taxes I've already paid.
They also have highly regressive tax systems. Are you on board with transitioning the U.S. to a highly regressive tax system? One in which those who earn the least pay the highest percentage of their incomes in taxes?
Absolutely, you can't have a stable society when 50 percent pay zero in taxes. I'd take Switzerland any day for social services. I think even the poor have it better there than here.
Perhaps our tax system is just a bit too progressive. I think everyone should pay more taxes, top to bottom in exchange for better services.
it depends on what it was really designed to do. if it was designed to work like the democrats promised from 2007 on, then it is a huge failure. on the other hand, if it was designed to fail, and force the people to demand a single payer system, then it is succeeding wildly.
I'm beginning to think it was designed to fail. I know that "O" is not all that great at his job, and his claims of ignorance are ludicrous, but I am starting to believe it was meant to fail, and that we are being pushed towards single payer.
