Healthcare should be free if that means the government should control it or pay the doctors themselves then so be it. Make doctors government workers. People should not go without healthcare because they are poor.
That's your opinion.
How does the government provide things for free? As much as the brainwashed government types say it they still can not violate the law of economics. Might as well try and violate the law of gravity.
Poor people wouldn't need to go without healthcare if the government wasn't around to make it more expensive.
We all must give something...so that the poorest among us can survive...hell enroll them in actual work camps, where they are given 3 hots and a cot and actual work to do. No person should be allowed to die so you can keep a little extra in the pocket. How is it to be paid for? No idea sure there is a way...Qaddafi's Libya was better off than the US...everyone is chasing the almighty dollar instead of helping their fellow man...its capitalism for you. Profits before anything else...it must end and it will end.
Work? You approve of work?
Why are you arguing with the rest of us then? Why do you say some things should be free?
That's all we've been suggesting people do if that want something ....work.

Congratulations. You made my ignore list in less than 200 posts.
This is a new record.
Some people prove their economic illiteracy quicker than others.
By the way, helping poor people is admirable. There is a great feeling of satisfaction from it. Forcing other people to do what you want via government threat and force is not helping people. It's not compassion. It is self-righteous bullying laziness. You get no credit for it. Moral or otherwise.

Geesus.....why not food, shelter and clothing?
Aren't they important? How about calling our county and telling them to stop charging me for water? Isn't that important?
(Ahem...cough, cough....when you say free.....will it all come down like manna from heaven?)

4 Years. Less than it often takes to get a PhD in other science fields, like computer science.
Four years?
Four years undergrad
Four years med school (can't practice without a residency)
3-7 years residency (depending on specialty)
1-2 years optional subspecialty fellowship
Do those going into computer science have average GPA of 3.85?
Are those in computer science going to be forced to accept people who will pay them less than their expenses?
Who in their right mind would sacrifice all the time, money, and effort to go into a field in which the government would compel you to potentially go bankrupt?
Most of us over age 50 have enough funds that we could retire at any time. Such compulsory labor would result in a massive exodus of physicians from the field, just at a time in which there are already looming physician shortages.
