Of course this is a political issue.

A classic example of Democrats taking advantage in order to expand government and make slaves of us all. Personally, I would rather see the entire planet destroyed before I will conform to the slavery liberal freaks have in mind.

Nobody is planning how to adapt to a warmer world. Democrats wants to pretend that we do not exist. Nobody is rebuilding beaches. Nobody is moving away from coastal areas. Nobody is doing anything other than sucking on the taxpayer teat when a storm does hit.

If we followed the example of the delusional liberal freaks, we as a species would have been extinct long ago.

If the LWNJs really cared about over population and manmade global warming they'd take themselves out in a mass Jamestown move. You know, for the children.

It's nice to hear from scientists from the 3% once in a while.

You guys are not living in a bubble...The US is not the world, only a small part of it, where coincidentally most climate change deniers live....And another coincidence is the fact that most of them believe the crap they are fed by the Heritage Foundation and the Fox propaganda channel.

Tell that to the liberal freaks who are attempting to impose their "carbon tax" on US taxpayers, when they know it will do absolutely nothing in reducing world-wide carbon emissions. For liberal freaks, global warming is entirely political. They see it as a means to gain more power and control.

As long as liberal freaks continue to use government as their only solution to every crisis, I will never support their agenda to make me their slave. I hope they are willing to die for their cause, because I am certainly willing to kill for mine. Nobody makes me their slave.

When people like sanspeur start talking to us about what China will do to lower its massive use of our resources and what he'll do to force them to comply, then he has something to say. Meanwhile, it's more babble from the left on subjects they know little to nothing about.

Maybe he drives a Prius or, better yet, doesn't own a car and walks everywhere.

You're absolutely right. It's a worldwide problem that can only be solved by international effort.

We got international cooperation to fix the ozone hole. It can be done.

What was that ad campaign that Reagan ran in the 80's? We need to be prepared just in case there is a bear in the woods. Something like that.

The AGW crowd is merely following the lead of none other than Ronald Reagan!

No, I own and drive three cars, but only drive one at a time...No Prius I'm afraid...I own a Porsche, a Subaru Forester, and a street legal dune buggy....Regarding CO2 emissions and China, historically they do not hold a candle to the biggest culprit of all, the US.

In the cumulative emissions between 1850 and 2007 the top emitters were: 1. US 28.8% 2. China: 9.0%, 3. Russia 8.0%, 4. Germany 6.9%, 5. UK 5.8%, 6. Japan 3.9%, 7. France 2.8%, 8. India 2.4%, 9. Canada 2.2% and 10. Ukraine 2.2% Climate change in China - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Just recently China has claimed top spot, but not by much...The US is following close behind in second spot.
