Mom says it's a family tradition and the KKK is a good organization. Her child just thinks it's a cool costume with a neat hat.
“It's supposed to be white with white, black with black, man with woman and all of that. That's what the KKK stands for. The KKK every year, raises money to donate to the St. Jude's.” - Mom
Well.............. it is certainly their right to wear that costume.
However, I cannot imagine a parent placing thier child in a difficult, politcally charged situation which could result in harm to them. While I agree that political correctness is a disease and wrong, there is simply an issue of civility and being polite which is crossed by such a costume.

Exactly! Using one's child for political reasons is always wrong.
Asking tolerable people to tolerate intolerance is extremely stupid.
To pretend that the KKK are not racist, intolerable, fools would be ignorant.
I can agree with this. The sad thing is, people will use the "tolerant should tolerate of the intolerant" is just an excuse that sympathizers use to make others feel bad for calling out groups like the KKK. The KKK is very intolerant and very hateful, and that is a fact.
