All of the kings of Israel after Solomon, from Jeroboam to Hosea, worshiped idols and foreign gods, especially Baal. When the Assyrians conquered Samaria, the capital of Israel, it was because God punished the Jews for their unbelief. So the Jews who worship Baal are still Jewish, but the Jews who accept their own Messiah are not?
I didn't know Baal was the other name for Jesus.
Anyway you can't be a Muslim Jew. That's like saying a Christian Hindu. Is there such a thing as a Christian Hindu? I mean there are Christians in India, but they are Christians not Hindus. How about a Sikh Buddhist ... how is that possible?
Honest question, though--isn't there a genetic test or something that individuals are (or were) able to take to determine whether or not they have ethnic Jewish ancestry?

The genetic test is only for the Jewish people that are belong to the "cohen"/priest group (which is a small number) but not for all Jewish people from what I know.
To be fair, one can be a Jew by ethnicity and be a Christian by religion.
Yes, and if these people want to live in Israel so bad, there is nothing stopping them from converting to Judaism. No one is forced to be a muslim, it's a choice.
No such thing. A Jew that has accepted Jesus Christ as their Messiah is no longer a Jew under the Jewish religious law.
Is Israel displacing the Christian Jews also?
Since Islam is a choice just like Nazism is, this isn't like racism at all. Muslims aren't very nice to those who practice Judaism when it comes to their own Muslim nations.

Thanks for clarifying.
However, your statement here might indicate that there actually are one or more unique Jewish ethnic groups.
This is correct; Christianity under the influence of St. Paul effectively became an entirely new religion.
Not true, Christianity is an extension of Judaism. Christ is the Messiah that was foretold of by the Jewish prophets of the Old Testament. He wasn't some entirely new and unrelated personage. The unbelieving Jews denied Jesus as their Messiah, even after He performed numerous miracles, and He told them that their stubbornness would preclude them from entering the kingdom of heaven. The Jews were favored by God in the Old Testament times, but were not the ones only who could enter into a relationship with God. There are numerous instances of Gentiles who turned away from idol worship to follow God, and conversely there were numerous Jews who turned away from God to follow idols or their own lust. Because man is unable to follow God in a sinless manner, the plan of mankind's salvation was fullfilled in the coming of Jesus Christ as redeemer of the creation to the Creator.
The books of the Old Testament contain many passages about the Messiah—all prophecies Jesus Christ fulfilled.
