The only reason why someone would lose their doctor is if that doctor stops contracting with that persons insurance. This type of thing happens all the time and always has.
“If you like your doctor, you’re going to be able to keep your doctor. If you like your plan, keep your plan. I don’t believe we should give government or the insurance companies more control over health care in America. I think it’s time to give you, the American people, more control over your health.”
$1.2M to keep him alive so far and he thinks his new plan is too pricey?
I do think there should be options, and I'm not thrilled with all the add-on everyone HAS TO HAVE, but I'm not going to fight for the right for someone to get $1.2M and counting and never have their policy prices increased. He's lucky the plan didn't have a lifetime limit...wasn't that Obama's doing?
I would also advise this fellow to think about what would have happened if the preexisting condition issue wasn't removed. His policy wasn't guaranteed to stay around (companies replace them regularly) and I doubt he would have found another plan at all. I feel for him though.
Well it should be pointed out that nowhere in the article does it say that United Health pulled out of California because of the federal healthcare law. As such, the guy really hasn't made a point.
Oh so what? Just a little collateral damage...keep your focus on how her sacrifice might help so many others...Look at how many men will now have maternity coverage.
Obamabots.... Dare question, deflect or deny this?
This guys issue shows exactly whats wrong with 1 size fits all health care.
But now he can get birth control and birth coverage... I am sure his cancer isnt as much a issue now that he knows that!
