Here is a feisty opinion piece from the NY Post, and it encapsulates what a lot of Americans have been realizing lately about this president. It's one thing to bs in elections and bs the country in general, but when you get caught telling an all-out lie, people get angry.
"How Americans see President Obama changed in an important way this week. It’s because there is a huge difference between lies and bulls – - t."
"This week was something new. It was the week Obama was revealed to be a stone-cold liar."
"Some 10 million Americans are going to lose their health insurance as a direct result of the Affordable Care Act."

Please tell me that this is not a revelation to anyone. We have known since 2008 that Obama, Biden, McCain, and Palin were flat-out liars. All politicians are.
Who out there was so stupid to believe that Obama was telling anything that resembled the truth?
A bus full of politicians crashed on a farm. A few days later the Sheriff visited the crash site and asked the farmer what happened. The farmer told the Sheriff about the crash and said he buried the politicians. The Sheriff asked “Were they ALL dead?” The farmer replied “Well, some said they weren’t but you know how politicians lie.”

What's interesting about this article is it catches the anger sweeping the country. There's a long tradition in this country of our politicians bs'ing us, but deliberate lies, especially to mislead the American public are unacceptable. Obama's been outed as a liar, and people are angry.

I see you guys are running low on things to whine about if every new thread from the far right wingers is trying to push the same right wing talking point. You guys are like good little lemmings, doing what you are told and not questioning why insurance companies were making a profit selling junk policies to people. The Republican overlords forbid you from attacking the insurance companies I see.

you call them junk policies, and perhaps some were, but they did what the policy holders wanted them to do, so they couldnt be all bad now could they? and a lot of policies that are being eliminated were good policies, but htey didnt cover everything that the administration wanted them to covers, things like birth control and maternity care, and other bullcrap items that many people dont need. so they are forced to lose the policy that served them well, in many cases for several years, and get a policy with a high deductible, high co pays, and high over all out of pocket expenses.

The thing is, in 2010 Obama wrote a change into the ACA to invalidate the grandfather clause which was supposed to allow people to keep their health insurance, and even while knowing this, Obama went on for three years lying to everyone that we could keep our insurance.
Section 1251 of the Affordable Care Act contains what’s called a “grandfather” provision that, in theory, allows people to keep their existing plans if they like them. But subsequent regulations from the Obama administration interpreted that provision so narrowly as to prevent most plans from gaining this protection.
“The Departments’ mid-range estimate is that 66 percent of small employer plans and 45 percent of large employer plans will relinquish their grandfather status by the end of 2013,” wrote the administration on page 34552 of the Register. All in all, more than half of employer-sponsored plans will lose their “grandfather status” and become illegal. According to the Congressional Budget Office, 156 million Americans—more than half the population—was covered by employer-sponsored insurance in 2013.

So you are in support of insurance companies charging people for policies that don't cover anything.
