Well, I'm a conservative and a huge Christie supporter. I know lots of people that are. I wish people would stop equating all of the GOP with the minority that shouts the loudest.
That wouldn't happen if the OTHER members of the GOP would SPEAK UP.
The admission that the Tea Party folks have become the public face of the GOP is now starting to come from members of the GOP themselves.
It's about time.
Christie - and other folks like him - are what the GOP needs in order to win elections, NOT bat-sh*t crazy scortched-earth types like Cruz that have become the face of the party over the last few years.

There are other people speaking up. Christie being on of them. My prediction is that Christie wins the primary and as the leader of the GOP, sets the narrative for our party. The Republicans (and the Democrats for that matter) always do best when they have one strong leader that brings them together with one voice. I don't agree 100% with Christie on everything but I can't recall agreeing with any single human being 100% on everything. We need a strong leader in the GOP. Romney was too dang dull to be so. Cruz - never gonna happen. Christie has the intelligence, charisma, and leadership skills to get it done.

Get what done. He has no character and stands for nothing. It is all about money to him.
Christie will never be anything other than the governor of NJ. He is not liked by the base, period.
Not a leader, not charismatic but an opportunist who is not admired by conservatives.
I do agree he's a LW fantasy though.
You do realize that you type of thinking is not our base, right? Why do libertarians think the base is comprised of their type. It's not. It's largely conservatives. I'll be happy to get my party back from the libertarians loudmouths.

Not who you are talking to, but you need to look in a mirror.
You need to speak up when Obama lies, distorts, breaks easy to fulfill promises...don't be a blind Obamabot and give them all bad names. Stop covering for him, our nation is at stake.
Christie is good for NJ, I'll wait and see who each party has running before I choose, but I like the Dems on a lot of social issues and the Reps on a lot of fiscal issues.
But as for your comment, i completely disagree, the problem isnt Obama screwing the middle class. it is obstruction by Republicans on congress.
how exactly can you blame Obama when Republicans have had so many filibusters and passed the least laws in a session of congress in over 100 years ??? the argument you are making is that everything is the same since Bush meaning nothing has changed ...meaning Republican policies are still in control and causing problems.
How can you possibly consider congress passing "the least" amount of laws "in over 100 years" a bad thing? Are you admitting that you are a big government, liberty-hating liberal?
