John Huntsman is dull - that's why he'll never go anywhere.

Whatever you have to tell yourself. He's boring. Even Romney, who could bore the hell out of anyone, was more charismatic than Huntsman.

Huntsman was the most intelligent and most qualified out of that bunch of misfits in the GOP last cycle. Unfortunately there are no IQ requirements to be president.

Although there should be.

Our elected officials are quaffed and tele-prompted to meet the needs of the voting blocks that they are after.

What a way to run a country.

The age of having politicians that do not have to play well to the TV is long over. Plain and simple, the candidate has to sway over people with both likability and intelligence to gain the highest office in the land.

While Obama has not proven to make intelligent decisions, people thought he was intelligent, thus giving him half of the equation. He came out as charismatic to a large majority of the voters, something else that helped him. Huntsman, no matter how smart he is, just doesn't have the whole package to become President.

Obama is not as intelligent as he is shrewd. There is a big difference.

Politics is about like-ability and the ability to persuade, which I do not equate to intelligence.

I don't think Obama is intelligent either - based on his seemingly inability to even remotely act competent in his duty as President. I was saying he gave that appearance. I think Huntsman, even though he couldn't be elected President, should be seriously considered as an important position in a GOP White House.
