The state of Washington sets their min wage at $9.19/hour.

meanwhile the median hourly wage nationwide is $16.71....................median means HALF the people make MORE than 16.71

the average hourly wage nationwide $24.15....that's the average of all workers

Obviously you don't understand what I was saying.

You'll give them an extra $240 (extra $6/hour) a week and they lose $550 in benefits a week.
So then we should lower the minimum wage so they get more in benefits.

And I am aware how those at the very top can skew the mean and median. What is the mode?

Well total deflection from your earlier post saying they won't need that much government help anymore.
Didn't do your math before commenting eh ?

Why not defend your position that $15/hour will make them more financially independent ?
Show me your numbers that back up your previous allegations.

Cut your nose to spite your face.
You'll feel smug that they are earning more and will be totally ignorant to the fact that their government benefits were worth more and now they actually have less than they had before.

That family of 4 is better off before the raise in wages than after.

Good for Washington, they are getting closer to 1968 minimum wage.

So again, you are advocating the minimum wage should be lower so that people make more in government assistance....so much for wanting to get people off government assistance.
