It's not about being too sensitive... upset over silly things. It's exercise of power, an attempt to claim turf and make it off limits to white people.
It is surprising that the Woke mob would go after Jenner, I thought she was one of them but maybe they are jealous of her success and seek to take her down a notch?
What is wrong with a successful woman heading up a tequila company? It sounds like she will be able to ensure its success while creating jobs and opportunity for Mexican people. That sounds like a win win to me.
The woke cancel culture children are never happy with anything. When will they be cancelled ?

Yes it is. I came across this Op-ed about cultural appropriation (one of many) and I was really shocked. Some blacks have some real issues with whites and don't mince words about it. I can't imagine feeling this hateful toward blacks or anyone.
Hair is a big thing too with CA. It's now become a huge deal if white women dare braid their own hair. My, how times have changed. When I was growing up the black friends of white girls would show them how to do intricate braids and even do it for them. It was just "fun" and sharing.
So sad to read this stuff now:
“To be black and be conscious in America is to be in a constant state of rage,” James Baldwin once said and our need to stay in our right minds makes our celebrations, our fictive kinships, our Friday nights at the Black Panther opening suffused with kente cloth, Nubian Nu-Nile cream and Kendrick Lamar. We know much of America doesn’t understand why we’ve always got to be so extra, but we don’t need them to. We call that being free.

Best assessment of the "cultural appropriation" situation I've seen yet. It is absolutely about power.

Probably because they still haven't forgiven Jenner for just braiding her hair. She was widely attacked by the mob for this act of cultural appropriation. (yet no one says anything or complains that many black women bleach their hair blonde)
“Yet another time that Kendall Jenner has appropriated black culture,” said one user. “These white women no longer have to think for themselves. They just exploit and steal from black women but are the ones who are praised for it.”
“Can she come up with something else???” someone wrote. “This act is getting redundant now.”

IDK. It seems like faux outrage to me. As soon as people started realizing they could get attention by suddenly pretending to offended by such stuff, we saw a huge increase in coverage of cultural appropriation. My litmus test for the legitimacy of such things is this: if the tables were turned, would they still be outraged? For example: Why is it cultural appropriation for white girls to braid their hair, but there's no outrage when Black women straighten their hair? The fact that you never hear about anyone being outraged about Black women straightening their hair tells me it's not a real issue. At best, its just attention seeking. At worst, its a power play.

Exactly. On the islands, there are always women walking around offering to braid the hair of little white girls. It is a very popular practice. When my daughters were younger, they liked to have it done, and it always looked cute on them. I never thought of it as "cultural appropriation".
When black women start walking around with big afros, then I will start worrying about "appropriating" their hair styles.
