Wait a month or two until things get sorted out. And to Republicans, try to not cause another government shutdown. This is the ruckus that such reckless behavior creates!
" And to Republicans, try to not cause another government shutdown." You are misinformed. The Repub controlled House OFFERED to FUND the ENTIRE gov't for 1 year IF Obama would delay the Individual mandate for 1 year AS HE DID THE BUSINESS MANDATE.That is when Obama AND Reid came out and sid, "NO COMPROMISE.

By REFUSING to even discuss extending the mandate, it was the DEMS who caused the partial shutdown.

Leave it up to the Republicans in Congress, and millions of Americans would remain uninsured.

The only reason Republicans wanted to do delay the start of the ACA was to push it out just far enough so it would happen during Nov 2014 election.

The ACA was already signed into law, and a plan for implementing it was in place, so there was no reason to delay it any longer.

Republicans simply can't stand the fact that the ACA was passed, so they continue to throw roadblocks in it's way every chance they get, even if it meant THEIR OWN ACTIONS would result in a government shutdown.

Obama and Reid stood their ground ... as they should!

The Republicans were the ones to blame for the shutdown!

I'm pretty certain a senior level economist like Drew Matus understands the BLS reports better than most people here!

Looks like Drew Matus was correct.

Exactly.
Yet it doesn't count against vacation time.

I didn't see too many people actively supporting the shutdown, however, even so they had nothing to do with that political theater.
Not sure which "whiners" you mean either. Anybody would be reasonably confused given the BLS's self-created "distortions" and conflicting explanations.

You don't read or comprehend well do you? There have been numerous posts telling you the folks affected by the shutdown were NOT included.

GOOD! Republicans need to shut up about the ACA. Americans are DONE with our old healthcare system. Too many people have been victims and it is no more. Republicans will not win an election from here on out if they preach going back to our old disastrous healthcare system.

Wrong! A government employee is considered not in the work force if they are out for only one week. That is why our labor force appeared to be shrunk by so much last month. Sheep and crow republicans on this forum were squawking about how terrible the employment report was when it only appeared bad because of the government shut down that THEY caused!

You clearly don't read or comprehend well! The government shutdown caused all sorts of distortions in our unemployment rate and the crows were sqawking last month that our unemployment report was bad when it was in truth very good.

Now, those crows have been proven WRONG!
