Remember the old saying, “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt”? Barack Obama’s lack of understanding of the insurance industry, let alone, the free market, is astounding.
The serfs just aren't smart enough to understand the true gift that has been graciously granted to them by The One. Just ask Obama. And....the rObotic minions high five eachother and cheer....

This just goes to the re-enforcement of The Ones already displayed nanny state government attitude.

Only he knows what is best for every individual. Look at health care. He wants to micro manage every aspect of our daily lives to aid in his agenda of eliminating individual freedom.

After all, the people just can't be that smart if they dare to disagree with him and his thugs.

Exactly. That's one way to try to herd everyone (except Congress, unions, and his political and business cronies who've requested and received waivers) into the same health plan. Believe me, if anything's going to be "bare bones" it'll be the "affordable" insurance.

Thanks, but no thanks. DH and I started making provisions decades ago when we heard Hillary's croakings on the subject. We will decide what type of health insurance/care we receive.

O has Narcissistic Personality Disorder:

Quote:
Symptoms of this disorder, as defined by the DSM-IV-TR include:
  • Expects to be recognized as superior and special, without superior accomplishments
  • Expects constant attention, admiration and positive reinforcement from others
  • Envies others and believes others envy him/her
  • Is preoccupied with thoughts and fantasies of great success, enormous attractiveness, power, intelligence
  • Lacks the ability to empathize with the feelings or desires of others
  • Is arrogant in attitudes and behavior
  • Has expectations of special treatment that are unrealistic
Per the Mayo Clinic, narcissistic personality disorder is characterized by dramatic, emotional behavior, which is in the same category as antisocial and borderline personality disorders.
In addition to these symptoms, the person may display arrogance, show superiority, and seek power.

The symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder can be similar to the traits of individuals with strong self-esteem and confidence; differentiation occurs when the underlying psychological structures of these traits are considered pathological. Narcissists have such an elevated sense of self-worth that they value themselves as inherently better than others, when in reality they have a fragile self-esteem, cannot handle criticism, and will often try to compensate for this inner fragility by belittling or disparaging others in an attempt to validate their own self-worth.

This is how ignorant control freaks think.

I was alive during the time of Richard Nixon and Richard Nixon had more respect for the American people and the Constitution than the stupid, ignorant little creep currently in the white house ever did.

Yes I know and even he had some remarks about what a fiasco this has turned into and is backing off.

Bausus will be associated with Obamacare the way Gramm is associated with the repeal of Glass-Steagall.

And many folks don't even know about Liz Fowler, the health insurance CEO that the WH hired to architect this who then left after it was finished to go back to the health insurance industry as a lobbyist for Johnson and Johnson.

The revolving door is all throughout this administration.
