Why do Republicans give credit to Democratic presidents for using the military to protect our rights and freedoms more often than Republican presidents?
I take it our fine, patriotic, nuke-loving Republicans would agree that the World Wars, Korea and Vietnam were wars to protect the rights and freedoms of Americans, yes? How magnanimous of them to give credit to Democratic presidents for using the military to protect our rights and freedoms more often than Republican presidents.
Now, surely you know that resolution by the Senate did not constitute a declaration of war by the legislative branch.
True. But a JOINT Resolution, enacted into law by both houses of Congress, authorizing the use of military force against another nation is a declaration of war.
You can try to pretend that it was not a Joint Resolution. I know how fond liberal freaks are about self-deception. However, those with non-diseased minds know better.

Because, unlike many Democrats, they believe in giving credit where credit's due rather than denigrating it.
Perhaps that's because they don't have to say basically the same thing three times in a row to get the point across.
And now, on Veteran's Day, a day that most likely means nothing to the likes of you, feel free to have your little anti-military hissy fit. Some of us fought for your right to do so. Others died for it.
And before you feel compelled to run and snivel to the mods, I'll report myself for you. See? That was easy. Yes, I meant what I said!

Ah, so you admit what you wrote was another falsehood?
I'm still waiting for you to write something in this thread that is true or accurate. Have you always been ruled by your emotions?

That's interesting, because when you folks regurgitate this talking point, it sure seems like you are being critical of those Dems. Good to know that you are actually complimenting Dems.
