No. That is incorrect. When it comes to social issues they tend to stay the f*** out of other people's business and focus on their own morality.

As a Dutch born person I know how annoying it is when people ask where you are from and the first things they say is;

- weed/ coffee shops

- gay marriage ( although after being the first country now many countries have followed and defiantly not all Dutch people are in favor of gay marriages but many are in favor of equal legal rights for same sex couples as for couple of opposite sexes)

Back in the days people would say about holland;

- wooden shoes

- beautiful canal views and historic buildings

- tulips/ flowers / Keukenhof

- Rembrandt and Vincent Van Gogh

Now Miley is trying to ruin the image even more all for her few minutes of additional fame and if that is her way of becoming a role model than please black her out on tv!
So you'd rather the Dutch be stereotyped for wearing wooden shoes? By and large, the Netherlands is known, respected and loved for its progressive agendas. Just be glad you moved to podunk America, and leave the Netherlands to forward-looking modern types.

BTW, Miley Cyrus continues to get so much attention that I'm starting to think she is one of the most powerful celebs in all of America. If yall don't want to support that, stop taking about her.

Yes, ultra lenient drug laws invited organized crime into Holland and like I mentioned 90% of heroin seized in Britain and France came through Holland. Many of the prostitutes in those windows are not freedom loving Dutch girls, they are sex slaves from East Europe and Asia.

I don't recall you mentioning that. At. All. Do you have some stats that I could look at?

For some reason I doubt that you've ever been there

Every single instance has been made to bring the maximum exposure and publicity without any overt or implied illegality.
Wonder why they chose the path of Anna Nicole Smith for their daughter. Her dad should be very ashamed.

If you're married, watching it on the occasion can help in spicing things up. Moderation of course being the key. Not to mention most porn is just down right cheesy, though I guess it isn't supposed to have too much emphasis on the sub-plot if you know what I mean. As for prostitution, not that I would partake, but I would support it's legalization, given that it is the oldest profession in the world, and it would probably put a huge dent in the sex slave industry. However; I wouldn't for example support a brothel being set up right next to my kid's school. There is a time and place for everything.

Finally... libertarians tend to lean right, but republicans I suppose like democrats have that you're either with us or against us mentality and immediately get labeled. And you wonder why I have a growing dislike for either party?
Look up Jenna Jamison's last interview, not sure porn is a future of everlasting sex and youth!

Some how she could even apply her lipstick straight!

I think Miley is not being told "moderation."
