So far we see a pattern emerging of gay marriage being legal in blue states and illegal in red states. The really interesting question is which red state will legalize gay marriage first (if ever )? The closest we have so far is Iowa, and that's a purple state. The first red state would probably be one of the less-religious western states such as Alaska or Wyoming. None of those states are anywhere near legalizing same-sex marriage, but it's reasonable to assume that there would be less structural resistance there than there will be in the South for a long time to come.
An appropriate smilie. It's very sad how morals and values have declined. What's scary is that they can (and probably will) decline even more.
So true - and to think it all started with women and their hemlines. Been downhill ever since. I hear some now even dare to contradict their husbands. Such decline in moral standards. Heck, I once read that some people now have pre-marital sex! Personally, I can't believe that.
At any rate, in my house, my woman is still my property and she better act accordingly. That's how god wanted it and that's how it should remain.
These types of people are so egotistical. They don't even realize that they are taking my rights away with their silly pursuits.

The only Red state that currently polls at 50%+ approval of gay marriage is Arizona (55%) (Montana is the next closest at 43%).
If it comes to voter or legislative action, I'd guess Arizona would be the first Red state.

On the contrary. It is immoral to give sanction to ignorance, unfair discrimination and inequality; American values are supposed to be about liberty, justice, equal opportunity and the pursuit of happiness.

Pretty soon it just won't be a big deal at all. Next year it will be 10 years for MA. The institution of marriage is just as weak as it was when only straight people could do it. You can't ruin ruin.

Oh you poor dear. You will never be bothered by this in real life like, ever.
