I forgot to do the quote so this is in reply to Informed Consent
Keep in mind that I don't think it's excusable to overlook anything ....I don't excuse unintended consequences when it should have been an every I dotted and every T crossed.
But, knowing it happens, in this case I think it was, as he said, a matter of the relatively inconsequential number of people it would effect and out of that number, most of them would be razzle- dazzled, legitimately or not, by the new extra benefits of no lifetime cap and limited out of pocket costs that they wouldn't care or, if the premium was higher, would think it worth it.
So, I don't think....as I previously did...that he knowingly outright lied...rather this aspect wasn't considered worth mentioning.
Until I see a $2500 reduction in my premiums, Barack Hussein is a hustler and liar.
What point is there to allowing these policies to remain effective for just one year? It's nothing more than "politicking". After all, there will be mid-term elections a year from now.

Ah... there's the problem. Obama and his Admin knew way back in 2010 that under Obamacare rules and regulations, nearly 100 million people would lose their insurance plans and/or their doctors. The projections were published in the Federal Register.
1/3 of the U.S. population is not a relatively inconsequential number of people.
MSNBC right now:
Andrea Mitchell and Chuck Todd are openly calling out Obama for trying to put the blame on the insurance companies and explaining that the insurance companies likely cannot even offer these plans anymore
Exactly. Interesting that even MSNBC has picked up on that.

Insurance companies have now seen that they are likely going to face a situation where younger people are not signing up, which was what was needed to cover the older people. Why would they drop the rates back down for a year with that looming?
More grounds for impeachment. Barack does not have the power to unilaterally change the LAW OF THE LAND.
This.
Also, I'd wager his primary motivation here is to now be able to blame the insurance companies instead of taking the heat himself.
