You'd have to ask them. Maybe they are healthy and pay their way.
Not everyone is living on the edge of poverty in the US you know.
Maybe they leave the country for their healthcare.

Lots of seniors go to Mexico for dental and prescription drugs.

Not every American is fixated on having an insurance card in their wallets.

Yes and no. Many, many people engage in activities that promote such outcomes. Likewise, they have unhealthful eating habits and fail to remain physically fit.

A few reasons.

1. They dont think they will get sick
2. They are wanted or paranoid and dont want to be known where they are.
3. They already have access to a free clinic
4. They cant afford the deductable
5. They want to pay as they go
6. Low info and still dont know about ACA
7. Dont own a computer or know how one works

Gives me hope to see young people coming to this realization.
This is why Madcow et al are trying to nip that "dangerous form of libertarianism" (as Christie Creme likes to call it) in the bud by pounding away at Rand Paul and others. Since libertarianism offers a release from the chains that restrict freedom, it's beneficial for people who support controlled societies and the status-qu to demonize these people before they become too popular and mainstream.

Returning veterans who us the VA hospital system exclusively as I do.
I believe the figures are 8.7 million veterans are eligible for VA services but only 3.9 million actually use it. Don't quote me on those figures but I believe that's what I read in a VA newsletter, recently.

Everybody's upset they can't keep their junk coverage. Well, there are ACA plans for those students that can be obtained for $50 or less but the crack staff over at the Blaze failed to mention that.

What about the plans they had made them "junk"? The students sure seemed mad though. Are you suggesting they were too stupid to know any better?

As I said in another thread on this subject, I don't know how they did it for $50/semester. The U of CO charges ~$1500 per semester, pre-Obamacare. Maybe someone was subsidizing the ins. and quit doing it.
