Less productive is a very good thing when the democrats only way of productive means more people on food stamps, more people in government subsidized housing, more people on Medicaid, many more trillions dollars in debt and more socialism all the way around.

No; as always to govern you must have the consent of the governed. That is why politics is the art of compromise as always and obama seems to have forgotten that. If you look at Both Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan they were successful because they compormised with TIP O Neal on one hand and Gingrich on the other hand. That is called leadership and why we have a president. Obama is like Nixion ;he names and makes enemies rather than leads to solution. The polls that show that people see this country heading in in the wrong direction shows that lack of leadership. Humans are not like cattle and history clearly shows that. Congress in fact reflects the widely varied opinions of the country especially the house with its large voted into office numbers.

You could have said

Democrat-led 112th Senate Least Productive in a Generation

And still been correct.

The Democratic/Obamamites set out to obstruct and they certainly have. What a sad excuse for governing

Not surprised at all. The republican party is the shock troops of ruling class austerity and they seem to be deeply anti-american too with their extreme negativity on pretty much everything.

Obstructing government is what we the people need to defend us.

Attributed to Mark Twain:
Quote:
No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session.
Which is true. The more any legislature does, the more we get hurt.

Would you say there is a difference in passing laws that raise your taxes and doing the job of governing? The Congress does more than pass appropriations bills.
