There's nothing sexual about those games. They don't remotely compare with pole dancing.

There doesn't have to be anything sexual about pole dancing.
Watch some videos. It's vertical gymnastics
Almost any movement can involve sexual innuendo and with some people, anything can be seen as such.

There are some amazing dancers and gymnasts out there competing already. There is the US pole dance federation, Pole art, and the International pole dance federation, with competitions around the word. We aren't talking abut club dancers.

The girls I have seen be great at pole dancing were also insanely fit and athletic.

Pole dancing isn't any more sexual than gymnastics. You must be thinking of girls pole dancing naked, then in that case it is definitely much more sexual.

Yeah, let's glorify something that women with daddy issues turn to. I mean, why not? It fits right in with the degradation of our society and just seems like a natural transition.

[MOD CUT/rude]

As for others saying it's not sexual, give me a break, please? Like you don't automatically connect pole dancing with strippers? I have no problem with it, I've gone to strip bars plenty, but please don't act like stripping isn't the first thing that pops into your head when someone says pole dancing.

That is a generalization about stripping. I use to know a number of girls that did it because it was fun, they got an intense workout from it, and they were not sexually conservative people by any means.

Though the act of preforming acrobatic vertical pole gymnastics isn't any different than what you see in any other form of gymnastics. Heck, a few strippers I have known were gymnasts growing up.

I don't think of stripping when I see male subway performers do it on the trains. It is only associated with stripping due to it being common in strip clubs, but if you take it out of the strip club, then it becomes just gymnastics.
