Below are the monthly unemployment rates from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics
If the falsified unemployment data reported by the Census employee Julius Buckmon for Sept 2012 was "significant" in any way, then wouldn't the monthly unemployment rate have jumped right back up in the months that followed?
As you can see above, the unemployment rate remained within .1 percentage point of the September 2012 number in the months that followed, and continued to drop.
Also, based on the NY Post Article, it sounds like the Census employee Julius Buckman was being asked by his manager to fill in "fabricated" info just to meet the 90% quota that was required by him:
It also doesn't sound like he fabricated many people.
60,000 people are used in the household survey.
And compared to the 60,000 only a little more than 12 instances of falsification were reported by Buckmon:
Buckmon was also not told on how to fill in answers for these falsified people:
So his "fabricated" responses could have made the unemployment rate go either higher OR lower.
THINK ABOUT THE ABOVE VERY CAREFULLY. THE FABRICATED RESPONSES COULD MAKE THE UE RATE GO UP OR DOWN, SINCE THE CENSUS WORKERS WERE NOT TOLD HOW TO FILL IN THE ANSWERS.
But since the number of fabricated responses was so incredibly tiny (around 12 out of 60,000 = .0002), it's doubtful that it had ANY noticeable effect at all.
This sounds more like an issue concerning specific workersin the Census Department who need to be disciplined for their actions, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Obama or his administration.
Of course nothing has to do with Obama he is just the president. He knows nothing

You seem to want to re-post the above data every time the word "unemployment" is mentioned in a thread, and all you manage to do is take the thread off topic!
In the interest of keeping things in perspective, I find it disturbing that in the time that the current President has been in office, there has been a disturbing trend of supposedly independent, non-partisan government agencies acting to keep him in office. To be clear, I am not alleging that the President has any direct involvement in this, but I would not put it past some of his current and former inner circle. Seems to be status quo for Chicago politics. This is fast expanding past mere coincidence. First the IRS deliberately targeted conservative groups for harassment, and provided privileged data on those groups to political opponents. That much as been documented, it is fact. The IRS leadership involved in that mess repeatedly made false statements on the scope and level of involvement of IRS leadership. Now we have the Census Bureau caught deliberately cooking the books to make the unemployment numbers look better right before the last election? This is not happenstance. This is not coincidence. Again, not saying the President himself is to blame, or even knew of this going on, but it wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that his closest advisers played either an active of passive role.
The disturbing part is we have seen dozens of examples of federal bureaucrats using the power and authority of the position in government to carry out their own personal agendas, and the president is not holding anyone accountable.
The scandals at the NSA, IRS and now apparently in the Census bureau, I have to ask, why is no one rotting in a prison for these acts?
Oh sure, Obama will claim he knew nothing about anything, and then he'll huff and puff and claim to be outraged, after hearing about another scandal from a random viewing of a cable TV news segment. Obama will sound sincere when he claims "I will get to the bottom of this," and claim that people will be held accountable, but then a year will go by and no one is.
To quote Neil Cavuto "Obama, a man whose outrage knows no bounds for scandals which have no end"
