I've seen numbers between 14% and 25%. Regardless, the real number is much larger than the official number.

You do realize there are multiple unemployment tiers that include different classifications, and every president since Nixon used the same tier that Obama is using, right?

Here's the link to the article.

Census ‘faked’ 2012 election jobs report | New York Post

This reminds me of something I heard during the Clinton administration.
Q: How can you tell if Bill Clinton's lying. A: His lips are moving.

I hope the individual is subpoenaed (or willingly speaks) to Congress to detail what he knows about this scandal. I would love nothing more than this liar of a President to be exposed even further than he already has.

The UE stats calculations were changed in 1994.
Long term discouraged workers were written out of existence.
Who was President in 1994 ?
Your comparisons can only go back that far to be seen as apples to apples comparison.

So now you support Nixon as an upstanding example of virtue on the subject.

If Nixon did it, it must be okay for Obama to do it.

Either both are right or both are wrong.

You decide.

I seem to recall the Census Bureau was under direct control of a different office during the last census. Anyone remember who that was?

And there used to be a regime in another country (that has since failed) - they used to put in place 'party officers' in nearly every aspect of the operation of the country.

Hmmm.....

"Every president since Nixon" == [Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush]

"It", in this context, is the decision to use U-3. Either you seem to either have some moral objection to using U-3 , or you don't understand what he just said.
