Recently opened a new one in Minnesota and never had it before.

I am center-left, and I dont see gay marriage as a problem. I won't march in a parade, I won't get in your face over it, I won't change your opinion on it, I'll keep it to myself and vote for gay rights when I can. That's the extent of my support for gay marriage.

I am aware Chick-fil-a is not for gay marriage.
I am aware Chick-fil-a donates to anti-gay causes.

Am I a hypocrite for going to chick-fil-a and eating there food?

Didn't the owner reverse his stance? If it bothers you, then don't go there.

Personally, you can do whatever you want. Some people are indifferent on certain issues and that's their business.

If you were in all sorts of groups fighting for gay rights, and it was a central issue for you, then it would be pretty hypocritical. Also, fairly odd. Like slapping a "save the enviroment" sticker on the back of an H2, or cheating on your spouse while condemning others for cheating.

Look, the food is pretty decent (especially the Waffle Fries) and the fact is that the whole controversy was blown out of proportion.

And i'll give them extra credit for closing on Sundays...and i can't think of any other fast food establishment that gives every stinking employee a guaranteed day off to be with their families. Even if it has religious connotations, it's better than having no day off at all on the weekend.

I wish other chains would do that.

I say enjoy your chicken sandwich and forget that the liberal anti-CFA ever existed. Your life will be richer for it (and your chicken more tasty!).

No they didn't, they didn't give money to a group. Either way, they have a right to their opinion. OP, I don't care where you eat your food!

Why would anyone give a carp where you eat and why?

Clue: Nobody does.

Have you ever eaten there? Just curious. I'll bet not. A certain segment of society is good about jumping on bandwagons without knowing anything.

The OWNER of Chick-fil-a does not represent the local store or its beliefs. I did not know that Chick-fil-a bans gays from eating chicken.
