If I was on the Jury, I would accept the defense!
After all, it WAS legal advice from the Vice President of the United States!
"NOT GUILTY" because of the recommendation of the Vice President? YOU BET!

If one were considered an idiot for following someone's advice wouldn't the person who gave the advice also be an idiot?

If I was the defense attorney I would not even attempt to trot that out. If you listen to the Biden quote he says he lives in a wooded area nor does he ever suggest firing a gun in city limits.

That is an accurate description of those who elected and then reelected the pair.

Why not? The President thinks he can change laws or make up new laws on a whim, so why not the VP?

I can't find a link yet, but according to a newscast I just heard, prosecutors have decided to accept the 'Biden defense,' and have dropped the charges against Jeffrey Barton. His arraignment was yesterday, and apparently today the prosecutor announced that the case would be dropped.

Vancouver man’s gun shooting defense: Biden | KOIN.com

Quote:
“I did what Joe Biden told me to do,” Barton told KOIN. “I went outside and fired my shotgun in the air.”
Barton was referring to a question and answer session the vice president had in February.
“If you want to protect yourself, get a double-barreled shotgun,” Biden said at the time.
“I said ‘Jill, if there’s ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here … put that double-barreled shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house,’” Biden added.

I thought the "Biden defense" was just saying "I am stupid".

Do you not recall Dan Quayle? Or W? Biden is a rocket scientist in comparison.

Not really, just an idiot in other ways. GW was at least a likable idiot.
