There are US soldiers in every country we have invaded and left.

If Obama pulled the troops you'd be whining he was deserting the Afghans.

Your whine is a broken record: "Obama's wrong, what's the topic?"
When was the last time a soldier in Japan was blown up by an IED?

Actually McCain said it about Iraq. Study up a little, and no, no one said US will apologize, or that we are there to start other wars. Everything you said was false.

WHEN has that ever been the criteria for determining where troops will be based? Did you whine about the troops left in Lebanon by Reagan after the barracks bombing?

Well, if you ever took the timer to read AND comprehend you'd know I've more often than not referred to Obama as just another political hack, the only thing either party seems to produce for national office. But that would require you to actually peer through your blind hatred, eh? And it sure doesn't look like that'll happen anytime soon.

Just another big Obama lie. The country should be used to this by now. Hell, all the liberals are perfectly okay and even defend his lies, why should the rest of us care?

Yeah, but in how many of those countries are we sustaining monthly casualties? Eff Afghanistan, eff Obama, eff the defense industry, and eff China happily lending us money to waste in misbegotten military ventures.

Are you suggesting US troops in Germany or Japan are going to cross the border and invade Iran?

I sure hope not, because that would be silly.

But, US troops can cross the border into Iran from Afghanistan.

The US must gain control of all the resources in Central Asia, and the only way to do that is to gain control of Iran.

When the time comes to attack Iran, it won't matter who you elect -- Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Ralph Nader.....Pink...Sting...Bono....Bobo the Chimp.....it won't matter...you're going to attack.

I get that Geo-Political Strategy is beyond the understanding of many, but just think of it as Retirement....you start planning your retirement, now, 35 years in advance, instead of waiting until the day your retire to start planning, right?

No sirree Bob, he did not mislead the American people.

From Time Afghan Endgame | TIME.com , Feb 2013, "President Obama declared in his State of the Union address Tuesday night that 34,000 U.S. troops now in Afghanistan will come home within a year. That will slash the total U.S. troop presence there from the current 66,000 to 32,000.

“This drawdown will continue, and by the end of next year our war in Afghanistan will be over,” Obama declared, as Vice President Joe Biden rose and applauded behind him..."

Politico had some interesting insight into Obama going back 9 years in their 2011 article, President Obama's Afghanistan speech reveals war that no longer seems so smart - Glenn Thrush - POLITICO.com

"Obama’s “dumb” vs. “smart” war meme, first outlined in his October 2002 speech as an unknown state senator, didn’t seem to be far from his thoughts. Now as then, he made the argument for extricating the country from an unpopular war without losing political face — or bitterly won gains against Al Qaeda."
That just proves how clueless Obama is with respect to foreign policy and Geo-political strategy.

The only difference between the people of Afghanistan today, and Native Americans in America at the time Europeans started colonizing is that many in the various Afghan tribal groups can read and write, and some have cell-phones.

Geo-strategically....

Here are some clues for you:

It wasn't a liberal who campaigned saying he didn't believe in using the military for nation-building yet proceeded to do just that once elected

It wasn't a liberal who invaded/occupied a country that'd done nothing to the US while ignoring those responsible for attacking us

It isn't liberals whose knee-jerk campaign rhetoric insists on MORE spending on an already bloated military
