The Tea Party is only in it for what they can get today. So the Tea Partiers over 65 would support this proposal if they thought they could get a benefit out of it. You haven't ever heard of a Tea Partier willing to take a cut on Medicare have you? It doesn't matter what happens tomorrow the Tea Party of today will be long gone..

Your probably looking for expanded Medicare also for dental and eyeglasses.. Nothing to good or expensive for the Tea Party..
