She should open up the Social Security program to all humans regardless of location, maybe we can somehow get her to work universal veterinary care into Obamacare too.

(Blech)

SS is a highly regressive tax. I thought Democrats were against regressive taxes.

For reference:

USA: FICA ~ 15.3% up to 106,000
Canada: CPP ~ 9.9% up to $44,800

CPP contribution rates, maximums and exemptions

Yes trickle down has worked for decades, people living on the edge are the problem.

No question social security needs to either increase donations or cut benefits, we can increase donations a small amount or send people into complete poverty. Warren makes quite a bit of sense regarding pensions, same as health care many young people don't plan for the future very well until their old. I guess we could ignore them when the are destitute or god forbid ask them to ante up early in life, socialism!

Or we could force people to invest in the market like Australia does. Nah, let's impose a higher regressive flat tax on poor people and then cry about income inequality. Bwahahaha.

Btw, the USSC ruled that paying FICA taxes DOES NOT entitle anyone to SS benefits.

Yeah, her and madow said ways to improve it were to raise or get rid of the income limit up to which social security is paid, and then the wealthy shouldn't get social security. Sure, lets charge them more and then not give them anything when it's their turn.

Yes, handouts are exactly what people need. That's the liberal answer to everything. Liberals are always saying the Republicans have no ideas. But increasing handouts is the one and only idea liberals have had in 50 years. They started with LBJ's Great Society and never stopped.

Social Security is already insolvent. More proof that Warren is an imbecile.

Actually, it's not. Most people get LESS back in SS benefits than they've paid in SS taxes throughout their working years.
Social Security is a LOSING deal for most workers

This tells us either of these two things:

1) Warren has no clue how SS is funded and that most people actually LOSE money on the deal, in which case she has no business proposing any such expansion because her lack of knowledge will seriously mislead the underinformed.

Or...

2) She wants to expand the scam that already enables the government to strip wealth from most Americans.
