What was their reasoning behind this, the Republicans gave 0bama 98% of every one of his nominations.

Yes eventually they give him his nominations after filibustering and delaying a vote for months or years. There have been 168 filibusters in our history of judicial and executive appointees, half of them have occurred under the Obama administration, that doesn't even include other appointments that have been delayed.

If they don't like a nominee then allow a vote, they went through this several months ago with the GOP and Reid reached an agreement, or so he thought. I heard there have been 23 judicial filibusters, 20 of them have occurred under Obama. That is not a bluff, that is obstruction.

Just curious, has any brought up what reid, obama, and pelosi stated a few years ago when the repubs talked about doing this exact same thing, but never acted?

It will also be used for Obamacare appointments. Death panels anyone?

Anyway, this about sums it up:
So the POTUS who's had the most **** poor choices for appointments also has the most filibusters.

Go figure....

So, this should mean we only need 51 votes to repeal Obamacare in the Senate, right libs?

There was a compromise reached, something the Republicans in the current senate have refused to do. Here is a history lesson for you. You will note that the Republicans who compromised were singled out and attacked by conservatives for having done so, which might explain why Republicans today are so reluctant to do what's best for the country: (oh, and Pelosi had nothing to do with it. She is in the House not the Senate. )

Yes Obama, Clinton and other were critical of going nuclear, do you think that maybe something has changed. How many filibusters were there under Bush in 2006 vs 2008, do you think just maybe they might be a bit extreme.
