Yes, it's true. Unbelievable, but true. The Big Government Nanny State of Manitoba is telling parents what they can feed their children. Why have we allowed the Big Government Nanny State to tell us how to live our lives? Doesn't anybody value freedom anymore? Do we really want Big Government telling us what to eat?

Kristin Barkiw of Rossburn, Manitoba, Canada brought two of her children home from Little Cub’s Den daycare when she saw that her kids were sent home with a note. As reported by CTV, the message told the mom she had failed to provide a nutritionally balanced lunch for her children, 5-year-old Logan and 3-year-old Natalie.

Michelle Obama is already saying what can be served to the kids at schools? Next she will go through the grocery store and tell them what they can sell.

You failed to mention that she was on the board of directors when that policy was adopted. She could have voted against it.
You also failed to mention that it's an old story and nobody is being fined any more, but nice try at being butt hurt.
Must be a slow news day.
As an American, i find the story to be interesting, but it ain't my business to tell Canadians what they should be doing in their own country when my own country can't even keep its affairs straight.

LOL...funny.
I just find it laughable that Americans always find fault in everyone else's government when their own government is COMPLETELY dysfunctional.
