That's what happened in VA and lookie, they are stuck with a democrat now. Of course they love big government there. They love siphoning money off you and me and they knew that Democrats siphon the most.
Unfortunately both sides of the aisle love themselves some big gubbermint! And sadly, so do most Americans. At any rate, I don't care anymore, because I'm sick of the liars and cheats on both sides of the aisle.

Why? Because the Military Industrial Complex (that own both parties) need a test bed for all their technology. Afghanistan is our new Bikini Atoll. For all you Democrats who really hated Bush & The Republicans . . . look in the mirror and re-ignite your hate.
So far, no one has mentioned that it is the Afghani President who wants this plan, not President Obama.
President Karzai still has to get the plan passed by the Loya Jurga, Afghanistan's equivalent of Congress. If they fail to go along with Karzai, all of our troops will be pulled out on schedule.
Since the Loya Jurga has a Taliban faction in it along with all the others, and since many of the members want us all to leave, these preliminary negotiations may come to nothing at all, or may be agreed upon only in part. Karzai has many opponents, and is not as popular now as he was before. He is not Saddam; he has to abide by the Loya Jurga's decision or he will be kicked out and replaced.
All Obama has done is agree to negotiate. He has committed to nothing whatsoever.
Obama's willingness to negotiate in Syria from a position of strength made Assad back off. Afghanistan may prove to be the same. The Afghanis know that whether our troops all leave or some stay, we are going to continue to kill Taliban as long as they present a threat to the U.S.

We need to get out. 10 years ago. Better yet, we should never have gone in their in the first place.

I completely agree with both your thoughts.
I was only stating the facts of what's happening.
