Just because of the hope the world had for him. First Nobel Prize awarded for that. Oh how disappointed the world has become.
It is kind of ironic how that he was given the peace prize because the world hated bush and Obama has continued or expanded all the same policies he campaigned against.
I could only imagine the liberals getting worked up if bush was spying on US citizens to the extent Obama is, or if bush was using the IRS to stifle liberal groups.
