Anybody who would believe that you must be religious in order to be of good moral character is delusional. Religion is simply not necessary to live a good moral life. All that is necessary is to live by the golden rule.

One who feels that people must be religious to be moral has been brainwashed by their religion & is unable to think for themselves outside the framework of religion.

Very sad that apparently intelligent people are unable to think & speak for themselves without leaning on that religious crutch.
