Go figure lol. She said she was not subsidized so it must be 1912 because I know some 35 years ago $110 rent didn't exist.

Well with a beauty shop, a grocery store and what else, was it a room that you called an apartment? Maybe you should have been going to school and studying instead of parties on weekends. Thats the problem, did people really think they could live the good life on minimum wage?

I have no reason to bs anyone here. Google is your friend so why not use it to see if I'm not telling you the truth. You said you know the area so you must live nearby. Google it please and then you can apologize to me

Back then, yes absolutely. And what is the problem with this? What I was saying is that making minimum wage then allowed me to rent an apartment and go out on weekends. Why is this such a problem with you

No, I don't live in the area, but I have delivered in the area. How am I supposed to google anything when I don't have a year to google? Maybe daddy was slipping the landlord an extra $125 to make sure his little girl was living in a safe place rather than letting her face reality.. I don't know Natalie, but I'm not buying it.

Did people really think they could live the good life on minimum wage? You couldn't support a family on minimum wage back then or today. People should have used some common sense and thought about that and planned and acted accordingly. The people who didn't use common sense back then and who expect others to pay for their lack of common sense.

No my family was poor. Plus I signed the lease so I knew how much it cost. And growing up in dc you learn the reality, my dad didn't have to teach me that. I'm sorry but why is this such a thorn in you side I'm just telling you the truth and you are arguing with me
