All those poor folks you claim to want to help now have to decide to heat their homes or eat. Good work.

Doesn't make sense to me. FPL bills were massively higher 10 years ago than they are now. Our electricity is cheaper.

Statistics of small numbers. You are talking about a $0.04 jump in 10 years across the US (from the link).

The actual average energy bill has gone down as a percentage of people's net pay in the last decade. Energy costs have increased, but pay has increased at a higher rate. Yeah, "greenies" (seemingly everyone, and reality, that doesn't agree with you) are such dummies we use things like math and science. Sorry reality needs to rain on your daily 15 minutes of rage.

To be honest, I am hardly a greenie--whatever that is. The absolute truth is that in 2005 and 2006, our Florida Power & Light electric bill was almost $300 in August (due to AC). This year, in the same house during a brutally hot summer, the highest bill was $210. I cannot explain it, and maybe it is only our electric company, but FPL is not known for its generosity. I don't care why--I'm just glad it went down.

You pointed it out not me.

"And my electric bill is the same as always."

This is what you said. So how far back does "always" go in your mind anyway? How long have you had to pay for electricity. I tend to think your statement is full of doody myself.
