Now the super wealthy are building homes that are like fortresses.

I wonder if these homes will stand up to thousands of poor, desperate people with sledgehammers and crowbars? I kind of doubt it. And that is the most likely disaster to happen in the future the way we are going. History repeats itself over and over and over again.

What's there to get over? They apparently have a fear of the future and of the population for some reason. Maybe they know something we don't know?

I couldn't care less what they do with their money, but I'm not going to ignore signs along the way of life. They must have a reason to be frightened of the population or they wouldn't be spending tens of millions of dollars on security. They got rich by not wasting their money.

I didn't see that in your link. They talked about an occasional kook. Not a fear of the population.

Look at the police state our rulers are creating for us or has your class envy created a blind spot too big to notice it?

What does this tell you about the anticipated outcome of trillion dollar deficits financed by money printing?

They can probably also afford security and automatic weapons permits.

That's the problem today. It's not their money. It's money the FED is creating to keep the markets artificially inflated. Ihave no problem with someone like Bill Gates creating a company that creates something millions use and he becomes extremely wealthy.

I do have a problem when people make bad investments, they go bad and the government stepping in and making sure they are made whole and then some. The problem is those who complain the loudest refuse to complain about the reason for the gap continuing to grow. The government. The government has created this and far too many think that the answer is even more government involvement.
