Is anyone as sick and tired as I am of hearing the excuse over and over again from every Obama spokesperson, when an honest answer would just make the President look bad or, even worse than Bush, was that "Remember, he inherited (all the problems) from Bush??"

Fine. We all agree Bush made some terrible decisions. We lost our Constitutional rights and freedoms under Bush with the highly unconstitutional Patriot Act. We started two wars which began the irresponsible use of taxpayer dollars and the bank bailouts were engineered while Bush was still in office.

However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if the bank bailouts and the wars were bad and didn't work, than additional bailouts and stimulous packages and keeping the wars going aren't going to work either. Instead they are just putting us DEEPER and DEEPER into debt. He is EXACERBATING problems started by Bush -- not fixing them like he should be doing.

Hasn't anyone in the Obama administration ever heard the saying "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of INSANITY"? You'd think one of his advisors would clue the President in about that. Doesn't the President have any pride? Doesn't he care what people think? Doesn't he realize how many Americans who voted for him he's let down?

The game is for the people to blame Bush for BHO deals. It's all a mind game. Sadly the people are still falling for it.

Take responsibility for your OWN actions. Blame game has been a card to many people believe in.(By intentional design)

I guess. People sure are falling for it. There is no denying that. At least that Rassmussen poll shows that more Americans trust themselves than they do the President. I think the poll showed that only 27% still trusted the President. So maybe there is some hope that Americans can think for themselves and realize when they've been conned.

Hopefully they also realize that 90% of their Republican or Democrat elected officals in Congress, when push comes to shove just end up following the party line or voting which ever way they need to that is personally best for them. They could not care less about what their constituents want. They are so sure they will continue to be re-elected time and time again..... We need to put a STOP to that.

In fact it is encouraging enough to think that Americans that were either Republican or Democratic have now realized that both parties have been HUGE LET DOWNS for many years and might in the next election vote for a third party and we might see a 180 degree change in our Federal Government (or at least 120 degrees). Isn't that a nice thought? I wish it could become a realistic expectation too.

...as anyone can see who reads my earlierl posts...I don't kow why you took the time to change what I said.... but I must say I do agree. I ALWAYS offer solutions as anyone can see who researches my posts and I certainly don't vote by party. I vote for the person and the issues they stand for and what about their background gives me reason to believe they will follow through on their campaign promises -- in other words--good character and honesty.

A few questions (though I do agree with your thread title):
  1. What rights and freedoms did we lose under Bush? What is unconstitutional about the Patriot Act? much of what is in the Patriot Act was already enshrined in law elsewhere. And we do need to have a means of gathering intelligence on suspected terrorists or groups that mean to harm the U.S.
  2. Who "started two wars"? The war was started on 9/11 by enemies of the United States who attacked us, killing nearly 3,000 civilians. Were we not to respond? Further, it is one war. It had two fronts. Was WWII one war, or was it many?
Some of us are tired of statements like those above about the previous administration.

They don't care. They have an agenda to "fundamentally change" America. Ever read about Cloward and Piven? That's what they are doing.

Lets do something about it, i'm ready to hear answers. They are nothing but School age bullies, that have got to get their way, can't we bully back!

Emily,

I was simply playing with the post to indicate what it is I'm sick of...and this board is a classic example of what I mean.

For crying out loud. The whining about every single thing that comes from the left, regardless of any merit whatsoever is ludicrous. It's way over the top.

It makes it near impossible to weed through the pap to get to anything relevant.

I see plenty of validity to conservative policies. I don't agree with most, but I certainly understand the perspective. The problem, is that around here, you have people insisting upon calling Obama a Muslim, a terrorist, not an American, insisting upon calling him "Hussein" etc, etc...

Pretty tough to take that stuff or those who insist upon ranting about it seriously.

One of the things we can do is go to our lower end elected officials in our State and start to make waves to make changes. The key is our Constitutuion. Getting them on the bandwagon.
Letting the bad apples know you will do everything in your power to get them voted out.

The sad thing is the Dem.s who are going along with this RADICAL crap--will be voted out. And there party knows it. But mission accomplished. Total control over our body and money. The agenda is so big that it's worth it to the Puppet Master. The power they will now have is the prize.

The Articles of Freedom call for millions upon millions to sign the pledge---then we can withhold our money to the crooked and evil fed. gov. Its going to have to happen. This will be our last resort.
