GM moved their jobs because the labor cost in USA has risen too high which is the direct result of raising minimum wage.

Nobody is talking about Walmart here. The point is that your so-called solution fails for people who can't afford education or training.
You say "as soon as wages can go below the minimum they will". Why? If that's the case, why doesn't everyone make minimum wage right now?
You say "and it will have zero efffect on the price of goods". Why? If that's the case, why are prices different at different stores?
Centuries of market economics tells us your contention is wrong. What tells you that your contention is right?
Well just look at the economies of countries with lower minimum wages than us and the ones with higher wages than us. I believe you'll find the ones with higher are far more ideal and a good example of what we could expect
