The noise scattered the cattle and cost them a day's work to round the herd up again.

But yes, there are more than a few yoyos with CWPs who dream of being heroes. I just hope they don;t pull in a situation where LEOs are present and get shot as a perp while trying to become one.

So, you have nothing....

Noted..

What proof do you have of this? Do you know a lot of people who carry guns that have this attitude? Have you surveyed concealed carriers whose answers gave you this impression? Most people I've met or spoken with that had carry permits wanted to carry for the sole purpose of defending themselves/family if necessary and most hoped and prayed that the day would never come. I have to believe that you are just talking out of your *** with no real basis for your claims other than your own bias toward people who carry guns.

Who are you trying to kid? You'd absolutely love for something like this to happen so that you could post it here and use it as propaganda to further your agenda.

Exactly!!

The anti-gun lobby is a case of inductive logic: They just know that legal gun owners are going to run around like a bunch of maniacs, looking for any excuse to shoot somebody. They have no proof, but they're just sure that they're right. I have never met anybody with a concealed carry permit who thinks like that. Not even remotely similar. What I'd like to see is some honest deductive logic: Show me with concrete and unbiased facts that people with a CCP are running around willy-nilly recklessly shooting anyone and anything.

And they never consider what an absolute nightmare it would be to completely disarm America. And of course that is only if you can garner sufficient public support for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment. If they even could repeal the 2nd Amendment, I don't think you'd ever successfully disarm the USA and its citizens.

Wanna raise the bar and require gun owners to be more responsible? Fine and well. But making up fairy tales or using bizarre one-time occurrences to paint an entire demographic is idiocy at its finest.

The cowboy is an image of self reliance, determination, individualism, he is icon of Americanism he stoic, brave, smart, honest ,and uses logic and reason to compete he tasks , not emotion and feeling.

He does not care who will be offend or if "Mother Earth" will be upset by the cows drinking from a stream.

He is not considering of the lack of opportunity of the rustlers had in their childhood or if is "socially acceptable" for he to carry a "high capacity" "military style assault rifle" Winchester 76 and a "military style pistol" Single Action Army Colt, He defends himself, his friends, and his property from all attackers.

This vision of Americans being strong, moral, intelligent, stoic and capable of defending their liberty, lives, property, virtue, culture, heritage and nation scares the the living hell out of cultural Marxist and statist..

lots of times gun control advocates also like to include suicide by guns in their stats. bt they never mention that japan has a higher suicide rate than the USA and they have very few firearms there too.
