The freakin North West passage is ice free for months of the year and shipping is increasing about a couple hundred % per year. What kind of goofball thinks this is happening for any other reason that it's getting WARMER!!!! DUH DUH DUH. All over the north in Canada the permafrost is MELTING. Are you familiar with that word, MELT????? Do you know what it takes to melt things????? It takes Heat!!!!! DUH again.
It's a very serious matter in northern communities. Everything including their homes are sinking into the MELTED permafrost. This land has been frozen for thousands of years and now guess what. IT'S FREAKIN WELL MELTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess in some idiots mind it's melting for some other reason than it's getting warmer. That's it. I've got it. It's melting because it's getting colder. Personally I believe this NY Post "scientific proclamation" will be laid to rest where all the other articles in the NY Post are interred--on the floors of NYC subways and stations where they end being used by homeless people to take naps. But--it is heartening to know that the author of the GW article has rejected the extremist crazy wing of the conservative party. Gives him slightly more credibility.
More interesting in other NY Post news, the Koch brothers are opening a midtown nightclub. After all a headline is a headline--why bother with details?
This planet and the sun decide what kind of climate we are going to have. As far as industrial pollution goes, we have environment protection laws since the 70's.
