I'm very curious to see where this leads. Will there or won't there be hypocrisy?

Lol! Understood. You're the arbiter of what constitutes a religion.
Satanism is a religion. Scientology is a religion. You only want religions that are Kidkaos-approved.
Sorry, it doesn't work that way.
Too bad, so sad.

I would just like to come on to be a presence as a nonbeliever who has lived in Oklahoma most of his life and finds this hilarious.

The ease with which you guys lie is astounding. What's it like to pretend that objective reality does not exist?
Case in point of what I said. Even in response to post accusing them of making accusations without any backup, the reply is to simply once again repeat the same old accusations.

Religion: a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

Satanic Temple: The Satanic Temple seeks to separate Religion from Superstition by acknowledging religious belief as a metaphorical framework with which we construct a narrative context for our goals and works.

Metaphor: the use to describe somebody or something of a word or phrase that is not meant literally but by means of a vivid comparison

Notice "religious belief as a metaphorical framework." You cannot be a religion if your goal is to acknowledge that religious belief is a metaphor. If you do not believe God literally exists then you are not a believer in God. The Satanic Temple does not believe Satan exists, they use Satan as a metaphor for an ethical philosophy.

Next time you try to be arrogant and insulting, do yourself a favor and try to be correct. Otherwise, as in this case, you look like an idiot.

Interesting that you didn't address Scientology, which fits your criteria of a religion. Furthermore, Satanism, does, as well.
Now who looks like an idiot?

In any case, they're all cults. One has no more or less validity than the other.

The people who go to great lengths to get the 10 commandments displayed in and on public buildings are just as out to lunch as the people who go to great lengths to get them torn down. The two groups deserve each other.
