I knew this girl that got her jaw broken by a boy friend, I took her in and helped her out.. she was getting prescriptions of 100 pills of percocet,, three times she had a 100 pill vial refilled and then she sold them to her boss who was a lawyer.. the lawyer died some years later, he was a total prescription pill addict

big pharma has the most to lose if drugs are legalized.. the most abused drugs are opiate pain killers!!! big pharma makes a killing off of all those illegal sales..
Your whole argument revolves around the assumption that legalization will remove the abuse, but now you're saying the use of legal drugs is increasing

Given that cannabis has proven to be much more benign than the other crap (including alcohol) yes it should indeed be legalized! To have alcohol and tobacco be legal, and the fact that Big Pharma peddles their crap, it is hypocrisy that cannabis was made illegal. Of course we know that it pays to keep people sick and hooked on addictive substances, so no wonder Big Pharma continues to lobby for keeping it illegal!

And history will show that they will be on the wrong side of history when it comes to prohibition..... Eventually. If one thing people are actually waking up about it is the propaganda around cannabis, and the real reasons for its prohibition. Now if people could actually wake up about all of the other crap that the government pulls, such as continuing to cater to the banksters, we'd actually be better off. But that is a whole other topic!

They are also pushed hard on pro-athletes. It is a dangerous culture.
I just we could put all the Prohibitionist in jail like they want to do me for smoking a plant. I really do.

The more I think about this issue the more outraged I get. On so many levels. From one of choosing your own medication, to what I do or use in my spiritual practice, to just plain what the hell I want to do as a free spirited human being that's not harming anybody.
