The Supreme Court in the influential nation of Australia has struck down a law which would have allowed marriage to be defined as something other then what it is - a union between a man and a woman.

Australian court rejects law allowing gay marriage - Times Of India

Predictably, the left wing media here in the U.S. is silent.

At least one English speaking language nation on this planet has exhibited some common sense.

Most Americans don't care about marriage laws in Australia, so there is no liberal communist Muslim media conspiracy going on here.

Just plain indifference.

Sure there's a liberal communist Muslim media conspiracy going on here. Just maybe not on this particular news story.

A lot of U.S. liberals seem to care about marriage laws in Europe, which mostly allow gay marriage.

In other words, you are calling U.S. liberals what they are - selective supporters - and hypocrites.

Australia tends to be somewhat liberal on many issues.

Liberals like to pretend that California has accepted gay marriage just because it is legal in this state.

They ignore the fact when the issue has been brought to a vote, Californians have twice upheld marriage as between a man and a woman, and the clear will of the people of California was ignored and subverted by unelected judges(most prominently- an openly gay judge) and corrupt Democrat politicians who refused to uphold or defend state law.

I never said anything about liberals or support, I said that most Americans are not concerned with marriage laws in Australia or Europe. People would rather tune into football than hear about marriage laws in Australia, has nothing to do with liberal or politics, it is what it is.

True.

It is the liberals who are interested in such things.

Most Americans are conservatives.

Good for Australia. I'm glad there is still someplace left on earth with a functioning moral compass.
