At this point, what use is there in denying it? Barack Obama’s polls amply demonstrate that 2013 was his annus horribilis — so far, a thought to which we’ll get return shortly. It’s not just Obama who’s had a bad year, either, as Meet the Press host David Gregory notes in framing this question for Robert Gibbs. The progressive argument that government does it better had its worst year, too, which the former Obama press secretary can’t deny:
To think, eight years and 10+ trillion dollars, and his legacy will be taking out a guy who hid behind his wife as the seals came knocking.
All Obama had to do was acknowledge that ACA wasn't ready and extend it another year. He is blinded by his own narcissism. Now, he's the second worst 5th year President in history, only ahead of Nixon, according to the polls. There's little hope he'll be able to dig himself out of this ditch, and certainly not with a string of long winded speeches.

I'd say you're probably right. 36% of Americans still think he's doing a great job, and this is mind boggling to me.
He didn't even address the question. He never said it was his worst year yet.
According to that logic Glenn Beck never denied raping and killing a woman in 1990, so he admitted to it. A woman once sent in a letter to Romney asking if he molested children, and it was never addressed or denied...so Romney is guilty. Obama was born in Kenya since the question was never denied (everyone broke down laughing) when pressed by WorldNutDaily.

What does any of this have to do with the thread topic?

The story is about Gibbs being asked a question he doesn't address or deny. The writer says that makes it true. None of the people addressed the question or denied it (Gibbs, Beck, Romney, White House)...but it doesn't make it true.
Bad logic makes for bad conclusions, and is dishonest in all of those situations no matter who does it.
I don't need Robert Gibbs to verify that 2013 was Obama's worst year out of 5 less-than-stellar years as president.
I also don't need Robert Gibbs to tell me that 2014 isn't going to be any better, because it's not.
"Regardless, the mandate delay doesn’t solve problems, it just kicks the can down the road. And, as Bloomberg‘s Megan McArdle notes, the White House seems to be reacting to short-term political problems, rather than shoring up the system in ways that will make it work better"
It's all about avoiding pain at the polls in election years, and Dems have been distancing themselves from Obama, the new political pariah. Sadly, a large majority of Obama's supporters are low-information types who are a bit math challenged, and likely won't be able to do the math for themselves to see that Obamacare isn't all it's cracked up to be.

The 36% consist of the ignorant and the freeloaders..
Obama's got a few years of failure still to go and watch it get worse, with new and improved lies and more spin.
