The country is hopelessly divided because conservative republican, tea party types have done everything in their power to divide the country.
You especially should be extremely ecstatic, as based on your posts, dividing the country has been your overriding agenda ever since the president set foot in the oval office.
I can't begin to name how many threads have been on C-D where conservative republicans have considered any form of compromise as a mortal sin and a political impossibility.
Is this your new daily "Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire" thread?

We were attacked by Iraq? No.
We were attacked by Afghanistan? No. The government(s) of Afghanistan (Taliban (which is not a singular group)) and Al Qaeda are not, and were not, one in the same.
Right- creating a national incident over a black guy lawfully getting arrested for disorderly conduct and stating that a black thug who was killed in a lawful self defense shooting looks like my son are great examples of attempts to perpetuate racial harmony and discourage divisiveness.

What does that have to do with the division that the GOP has been working on since Obama was elected? Just remember who said "our number one goal is to make Obama a one term president". I will give you a hint. It wasn't a democrat.
See, we are all one big happy American family Another promise broken.
